Today in my Life

me not riding a motorcycle
Yo Just a quick hello. I am done with classes. I hope to get my grades next week. I loved the teacher. She was very fun.
I have to share this story. This week I was taking pictures in the park of a family. For them not just because. I was hired. Anyway. I organize all 22 people standing in front of a bridge. Well out of no where a lady walks up the stairs with a donkey. It was so random I was shocked. I had everyone turn around and watch. Very strange. I was in such shock, I didn't take any pictures of it.
I am still driving my friend Jeff to work and dropping off his kids at Kids Klub. And picking them up too. Its fun to hear the kids stories. Today the boys went to the Insect Museum. I would hate it. I do not like bugs. But they did. So cool.
Tomorrow July 23, will be the anniversary of the day my wonderful mom passed away. I will miss her til I see her again. 5 years since she died. If you still have your mom or dad, cherish everyday with them. So be safe, please pray for my friend Kelley to be healed, and my friend Jeff Rudnik who is in Iraq now. Peace.

Fun and Friends

A sunflower, Hank picked for me.
My little Izzy at home.

Gayle, Claire and Sage, Gayle's Mastiff

Leah milking Holly.

Hank, Claire, Holly and Molly.

Wonderful little Hank.

Here is Olive and her stick.
Time to update. This day started out by me being dorky. I was turning on the water, in the shower, and you have to lean in to reach the knobs. I felt myself starting to fall in slow motion. AAGGHHHH And I did. I twisted all the way around from the way I was leaning over. My body sitting in the bath tub with my legs hanging out of the tub. Yes, I looked pretty stupid. No, I didn't take any pictures. Thank goodness. DUH.
After I did take my shower, I got dressed and drove to my friend Dirk and Leah's house. This is 7 a.m. She is the one with a baseball field in her backyard. That they built. Its so cool. They have 3 black labs, a cat, 4 children. Gayle, Ben, Hank, and Claire. Gayle is the one I video taped her recent wedding. Then Ben is 18. Hank is 3, yes 3, and Claire is almost 2. Yes, all their kids. Leah rocks!!! I love going to their house. You can sit on the porch and hear goats, horses, dogs, birds, children and feel the love. Leah and I drink coffee and chat. Her hubby sleeps. We go in the back where she milks her goat Holly. I got to try. It was different. You know when you have a friend who makes you feel so comfortable? That is Leah. I love her!!!!! Hank and Claire bounce around and smile, cuddle and laugh, and jump on me. Hank is one funny boy. He eats dandelion flowers right off the grass. It blows me away. He knows it too. He'll say "Gail, look at me." Then he pops the dandelion in his mouth and chews it all gone. I brought some of my Hot Wheels cars over to their house so Hank could see them. He liked them. It is so fun.

After I finally left their house I went to see my mother in law. Betty. I don't like to say ex, because I didn't divorce them. Bob divorced me. She hugged me and we sat and talked a while. She has turkeys, chickens, ducks, peacocks, a dog, a cat, 4 goats, and three beautiful horses. Yes I love the country. After I left there, I went to the car wash and saw Art, my dad in law. Just wanted a hug. He is so sweet. It was really HOT today. 96-100 degrees. I had the cooler on in the house and all is fine.

Now I am off to the Veteran's Park for live music. I love my life. I will include photos of Hank, Claire, Gayle and Leah, Izzy and Sage. Happy July!!!! Love and Blessings. Gail

Me and the Lilacs
LOVED THE HUMMING BIRDS
SOME OF THE CROSS STITCH WORK. BEAUTIFUL!!!

MY FAVORITE PIECE
JEFF AND HIS KIDS
AT THE CREEK

I am just getting people up to date. I have been going to College for three weeks now. Early Childhood Education. I am loving it. It's been so long since I was in a real "this counts" class. I am learning new things about children's feelings that will help me in the classroom. It's good.

I have been busy helping a friend and his children. SEE THE ABOVE PICTURES. Jeff works with me as the maintenance guy, and he can't drive right now. I really love his kids and so that is why I am their taxi. Plus he pays for all the gas. I have had his two girls overnight for a girl's night. I made french toast with strawberries the next morning and Hali says..."I feel like I'm at a restaurant." It was fun. Jeff has full custody of his four kids. I will add a few pictures of the fun we all have had together. Did I mention the girls can sing? WOW.
We went to Beulah Colorado, to see Jeff's dad. And wow! I was blown away by his Dad's cross stitch work. I am putting some on here, to show it off. He has about 30 all around his house. Beautiful works of art.

I have been having a bug of a time with moths this year. They are everywhere. Inside, outside. They are gross! And big. Izzy loves to hunt them then eat them, or pull them apart. She's no Rat Terrier, she is a Moth Terrier. Its not just me. They are all over. I wish the birds would do there job and eat them. Blah. I hate them.

The Divorce. It is in the works and not final yet. The whole thing makes me very sad. All I keep thinking is 'Why wasn't I good enough?' Oh well. Some people just don't know what 'unconditional love' is. And probably never will. Bob loves himself first. It was all about him and the things I didn't do for him.

I miss my family a bunch. I just don't have the moolah to get a plane right now to see them so I wait. I email, call, and text them to let them know I am still alive. :) I love them.

So that is all for right now. Please pray for my friends, Kelley, Tanya, and Karla. All have big things going on in their lives right now and need prayers, and healing. Thanks. Love one another.

I LOVE CARS.

Back to the Future

My Favorite of the show.
Here are the pictures from the Canon City, CO. Abbey car show. I had a great time! It started out drizzling, but ended, sunshiney. I walked around shooting pictures, and someone even took a picture of my Chevelle/Rat Fink tattoo. They guy said, "I want one like that!" It was funny. He owned the black 70 Chevelle in the above pictures. I love car shows. I love to see how people put so much time, money and TLC in a car. And how proud they are to show them off. I just love these car shows.

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends and family that are MOM's.

I have no plans for Mother's Day besides church. No money to do anything big. I may go to the river and take pictures.. I have a photo gig in June I am excited about . It will be a family photo of three-four generations. Outside. Thanks Kelly!!!!

I will be laid off May 22 from my teaching job. It will not be fun. We are on job attached unemployment at about a third of our real pay. GULP. I hope to live off of income taxes when I ever get them. It sure is taking a long time.

The weather here is fabulous now. I love being outside and soaking up the rays.

This past Thursday the 7th of May my grandson Brock turned 5 years old. I sent him the movie "Bedtime Stories" . He called me to say thank you gramma . I always love hearing his voice. I miss him so much.

This week at school a little boy in my class asked me to give him a wedgie. I laughed and said "No Way." He is a funny guy, and he also sang to me this song..."STOP, IN THE NAME OF LOVE BEFORE YOU BREAK MINE HEART, STOP, IN THE NAME OF LOVE ,THINK IT OH OH VER." This kid is a hoot, and I hope he is in our class again next year. A little boy on the bus, told another boy him and I are going to get married. I just love listening to them talk, and ask questions. This is truly my calling. To work with pre-schoolers. Kim and I are blessed to be team teaching. I will miss the little rug rats over the summer. Oh but there is always Wal mart, the place to see everybody in this town.

Still waiting on my blood work I got done 2 weeks ago. Hope it comes back great. Everything else was fine. :)

So that is all for today. I have to say a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my best friend Barb R. on May 10th. She is actually going to be in Colorado helping her daughter and son in law and baby granddaughter move back to IL. So~~~~ Happy Birthday Barbsie. I love you more....Then her hubby's birthday is May 13th. So Happy Birthday JIM!!!! My nephew Greg, will be 40 tomorrow, May 9th. WOW. I remember when he was just born. He has grown up to be a loving, responsible, caring, handsome man, and Christian husband and father. I am so proud.

:( May 10 is Bob and my 11th anniversary. It is so sad to me that it all fell apart. Our wedding day was so awesome on the Royal Gorge Bridge. Beautiful! I will never forget that day.

God Bless you all !!!!!!!!!!!!!! From Colorado..Gail

BLOSSOM FEST 2009

There is my friend Tanya blowin me a kiss.

NBC 5/30 Colorado Springs TV

The little boys in the truck, and on the float is the sweetest things.

a whole lot of Smart cars.

My favorite.. The bikes.

Canon City Blossom Fest
Our channel 5 news guy

Today was Blossom Fest in my town. It was a bit cold and rainy but fun. This year I got to walk to it from my house. I took pictures of things I liked. I saw many kids from class (one of the kids actually hung around me most of the parade.) and many friends from church and school.
I am not getting that trailer I wrote about. I had bad feelings about it and felt I jumped into it too fast. So for now I am content to be here in the house in Canon. Izzy and I are keeping each other company.
I sent Brock his birthday gift today. :) Hope he likes it. He will be 5 May 7th. Time flies. My sister Barb and her hubby Pete will celebrate their anniversary May 5th. Cinco De Mayo. Also my nephew (Bob's) Geoffrey will be 18 on the 6th. He is in the Navy Nuclear program. I am very proud of him. Then my nephew Greg will be having his birthday May 9th. Then on May 10th is my dear friend Barb's birthday...Yay! May 10th would actually be Bob and My 11th Anniversary. So bittersweet for sure, since we aren't divorced yet. :(
So have a good week and say your prayers. GOD BLESS YOU...........Love, Gail
