Canon City Blossom Fest
Our channel 5 news guyToday was Blossom Fest in my town. It was a bit cold and rainy but fun. This year I got to walk to it from my house. I took pictures of things I liked. I saw many kids from class (one of the kids actually hung around me most of the parade.) and many friends from church and school.
I am not getting that trailer I wrote about. I had bad feelings about it and felt I jumped into it too fast. So for now I am content to be here in the house in Canon. Izzy and I are keeping each other company.
I sent Brock his birthday gift today. :) Hope he likes it. He will be 5 May 7th. Time flies. My sister Barb and her hubby Pete will celebrate their anniversary May 5th. Cinco De Mayo. Also my nephew (Bob's) Geoffrey will be 18 on the 6th. He is in the Navy Nuclear program. I am very proud of him. Then my nephew Greg will be having his birthday May 9th. Then on May 10th is my dear friend Barb's birthday...Yay! May 10th would actually be Bob and My 11th Anniversary. So bittersweet for sure, since we aren't divorced yet. :(

Oohh, it looks like so much fun. We have an apple fest here every fall..it's a blast. Maybe next october you can come out here and go with me.
