LAST OF THE FUN SUMMER DAYS........

A FEMALE MOOSE. ESTES PARK, COLORADO
ELK!
A CHIPMUNK IN MY CLEAVAGE.
BOB FISHING AT BRUSH HOLLOW.
BABY ADIE !!!!!!
OLIVE, ADIE AND KATIE.
KATIE, ADIE AND MIKE.
THEODORE AND ME. LOOK AT HIS CHEEKS.
This past Wednesday night, Bob and I went to the local fishing, boating hole and Bob fished. I watched. He didn't catch any fish that night, but it was fun. I took lots of pictures, as the sun set. That is Bob fishing in the above picture.

I know you are laughing at this picture of me with a chipmunk in my cleavage. We went to the Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday. These little cute 'rodents' were very friendly. Can you tell? The signs say 'Do Not Feed the Wildlife'. Ok, so I was holding a cashew and he took it from me. Smart little chipmunk. We had a ball at the park and went over 12,500 feet above sea level. It was beautiful. We got to see a female young Moose roaming free. That was so cool. I love Moose. We also saw a couple herds of Elk. Tons of Elk. I will post those too. I love seeing wildlife out in the open roaming about. So awesome.
We also went to my best friend's daughter's home to see her and her hubby's three month old cutie girl. Adie was adorable! They live three hours from us here in Colorado. Thanks Katie and Mike, for sharing Adie with us. They also have a very beautiful dog, Olive. Check out the pictures. They are my friends that are close friends of the UFC fighter, Clay Guida. TapOut baby!!!!

On another note, my friend Tasha and her husband Brian added to their family yesterday with baby Lacy. I got to see them all in the hospital today. I so love the smell of new, new babies. She is perfect. Everyone is doing well. That's all for now I suppose. Bob and Geoffrey are playing a game on the lap top. The chickens are full and the weather here is a breezy 70 degrees. This state is A number 1 in my books. I love it here....Molly, Mike and Brock, I miss you guys so much. Come visit. Monday I start the new school year. Back to work. :)
Have a Great weekend.

Sunday August 17..2008

Bob was with his parents the past week at the ranch. I had excitement. My sweet friend, Shalena asked me to 'drive fast' to her house to help deliver the most recent litter of American Bulldog puppies. I got there and the first puppy was there. That was 12 noon. The rest of the puppies were born in the following 7 hours. There was 9. Two, sadly were stillborn. We tried and tried to get them breathing. It always breaks my heart when they die. :( But 7 were born so healthy and beautiful! Four males and three females. Enjoy the pictures. It is so fun to go over there every couple days and see how huge they grow, so fast. Lilo, the mom produces more than enough milk for her babies. She could supply milk for two other litters in my eyes. Milkin Momma. It's a good thing. Stunkers, the dad of these babies is proud of his brood. Well, I hope he is. I named one of the boys "Michael Phelps" cuz he was long and cute. And in honor of the 23 year old, 8 gold medal USA Olympic Swimmer winner. Puppies are so great!
On other news, I just finished the wonderful book 'The Shack' by William P. Young. I recommend this book to anyone who has lost a family member. So that's everyone. It is an awesome story of a man, 'Mack' being in the presence of the God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is funny, serious, and sad too. I want to read it again I loved it that much. WOW. There is a web site on it to check out...www.THESHACKBOOK.COM . I highly recommend this easy read book.
My sister Barb, text me Friday, telling me she got a tattoo!!!! I immediately called her to ask questions. She got a Heart with her daughter Laurie's initials on top of it. 'LB'. In honor and memory of Laurie . I was so excited for her. I can't wait to see a picture of it on her blog. Congrats Barb. Can't wait to see what her other kids say about it. She wanted me to be the first one to hear about her LB tattoo, since I have 12 now. Pretty cool sis.
We also rented 'THE BUCKET LIST' movie. Truly worth seeing. Keep tissues close by.
Ok, gotta go watch more Olympics. Have a wonderful week, and put god first. Love, Gail...... GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Kansas Thing

Well, I really don't know no more than before. Bob came to tell me today that he got 'the call' from Kansas this morning. He was in the three top contenders. Yo Rocky. They ended up selecting the guy that has Navy Nuclear Training. BUT......................They told Bob that in October, they may be calling him back, to work there anyway. There will be three openings in October for Radiation Techs, and he is on 'THE LIST' for that. so we shall see. I am happy I don't have to pack up right now. Like I have said before, everything is in God's hands, and wherever HE leads, we will follow. So right now we are happy to stay with the routine. I will go back to work AUG. 25, and love and teach kids. Bob will be headed to Texas for their outage season. All is cool. No worries. So that is all for now folks. Just wanted to update you in my world. Have a great August, summer, life. God Bless!!! Gail
