Sweet Time in IL.
This post is blue. Why? Cuz I'm blue I have to go home. :( I had so much fun here in IL. Brock was great. He is a little, wild, cute, funny, smart, witty, 3 year old. When I get home, I will post some pictures. I have to thank Molly and Mike for getting me out there, and Molly, for dying and cutting my hair. I love it. Shorter now. For the great talks, for the laughs, and for doing my make up that one day. OMG.
Today sister Barb dropped me off at their house and my shoes were wet, and I slipped on their downstairs, stairs and fell about 5-6 steps on my right butt side. OUCH. I feel like I was run over by a car. I also hurt my neck and my hand. Molly and Barb just started laughing. I would have too, if it were them. Oh man, am I sore now. Thank you also to Barb and Pete, for having me overnight and taking me to 'Famous Dave's', and all the laughs. Oh Barb thanks for the fun at Goodwill. I love that store!!!! We visited niece, Mandy and had fun and caught up on stuff. I did not get to see Craig, Heidi, Phil, Kathy S, and others. :( It just went too fast. It was below zero this past week. Yuck. I have to thank Rochelle and Melissa for taking care of our chickens and dogs. !!! Thanks girls. And Melissa, thanks for the ride to and from the airport. What a fun two weeks away from work. I did miss my friends and the kids. Now for the flight home.
I'll write, next week... Bye for now. Love and smiles from ....Sweet Home Chicago.

LIFE, LIVING AND BROCK AND GRAMMA
To live without secrets is a calming thing. I really don't have secrets anymore. I used to. And it ruined my life. It ate at me day and night. Who I told this to, or who I gossiped about. I don't have anything to hide anymore. Think about your life, are you hiding things from anyone? Are you lying to someone? A spouse, a friend, a parent? Do you feel good about it? Life is short. Why have regrets? Do you feel happy about your life or are you conceited and feel you are SO much better than everyone else? I will never try to impress anyone. Why? Will it get me into Heaven when I die? Nope. Does it help anyone? Nope. I want to be a better person here on earth today. I want to be loving and helpful. I just want to be worthy of God's Kingdom when I die. Plain and simple. Get the junk out of your life and really live! God has so much to offer us.
Amen
On another note, I have been having so much fun with Brock. He is one funny boy. We went to Barb and Pete's house yesterday and had a blast. My sister Joey met us there too. Barb thanks for the great lunch and also the gifts. Wow. I love the watch and journal. Brock had so much fun with his cousin Isaiah. Little buddies. The boys made candy sushi. Aunt Joey helped with this. So cute. Out of Rice Krispie treats, fruit roll ups, and red licorice. They were using real chop sticks trying to pick them up. Yes, of course I took a lot of pictures.
Brock and I went to 'Super Target', and man do I love that store. I got him three MORE DVDs. That makes 6 now I think. He loves the movie "Toy Story 2" I think it has played over 22 times while I have been here. Yikes. Something different today please..... It is 7 degrees outside today and we are staying in! Well that's the update for today in IL. I love this Boy!!!!

Revelations the Seals.......
Revelation 6 NIVPrint Listen
Revelation 5 • Chapter 6 • Revelation 7
The Seals
1I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!" 2I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
3When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" 4Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.
5When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart[a] of wheat for a day's wages,[b] and three quarts of barley for a day's wages,[c] and do not damage the oil and the wine!"
7When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" 8I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" 11Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.
12I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"

Winter wonderland in Colorado
It's a week before Christmas and all through our house, not a creature was stirring, oh except me with bronchitis, tonsillitis, and and sinus infection. I went to the doctor this morning. I will be at work tomorrow. I want to be there. I have two more days then 2 weeks off. Even tho I got this stuff from the little darlings I work with. I am on meds now so I'm going.
The pictures above, I took last Wednesday morning at work. The snow was lightly crystalizing on everything and so beautiful. Then the sky so blue. I grabbed a camera and went taking pictures. I got an early Christmas gift from Bob..A new wider angle lens for my cameras. I love it. Thanks Bob. I still need to get him a few more things. Ok gonna go rest....more soon.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE, OH CHRISTMAS TREE........
Current mood: confused
Category: Life
The Christmas tree is up, and the lights are on and I started putting decorations on. Yes, we broke down and bought a REAL tree. Bob set the tree up for me. He went to bed already. I put on the lights, and decorations. I have memories when my sisters and I and mom and dad put up the tree. What great memories. Those were the days. Man I miss my childhood this time of year. Dad put up the outside lights and the big, painted wood Santa. Mom carefully checked the glass ordaments and put them up. She would hand us girls the unbreakable ones. On Christmas Eve, she would sit by the window with Joey and I and pretend to see Santa across the sky. She'd say.."There he isn't." Ha ha mom. Or, "There he goes, did you see him?" Man, I miss those days. I hope I passed on some good memories to Molly from her childhood. We, her dad and I, really taught Molly that Jesus was the real reason for Christmas. It is HIS Birthday, not just, ok how many toys can we get her. Miss those days too. Christmas is children. Where I work, we can't celebrate it. . Very stupid. Can't sing Christmas carols, Can't do any art projects that have things to do with Christmas. . It really saddens me. I miss the Christian school I used to work at. But anyway, the tree is up and it smells so nice.
Such a beautiful time of year to me yet, so many of my friends are going through very hard stuff. My friend Becky has cancer. Yucky ol cancer. She wrote me today and I cried. What the doctor's just found. It's not her first time with this crap either. Please, please pray for my friend Becky. She lives in Florida right now but her heart is here in Colorado. I hope she can move back here soon. Then my friend Ana. Last week her Grandpa that she loved so much, took his own life. AAAGGGHHH. Why? Why? Why? Please keep prayin for Ana and her family. She is hurting but trying to be strong. He left a lot of family members with unanswered questions. I love you Ana. I love you Becky. God loves you....
Well, back to the tree. Gotta get it done. Oh and keep Josh in those prayers too. He deploys to IRAQ this month.. Angels over and around him 24-7. AMEN............Love, Gail

It's ABOUT JESUS...NOT SHOPPING..
Evil Kneivel has died. Oh no. Christmas is coming. I love what Christmas stands for Jesus' Birthday, not buy everything for everybody you know. But that is what it turns out to be. I do not like this time of year. Unless I could just buy learning toys for my grandson. Yes I am bitchy. This time of year when you don't get to 'BE' with your family. They are so far away. I checked Flights to IL. Ha ha. The airlines have you in a strong hold. I don't have one decoration up this year. I priced real Christmas trees, $39.99 for a dead tree I will throw out in 4 weeks. Holiday spirit? I guess I don't have any this year. Bob is home and we went shopping, He bought "US" a set of Rachael Rays cookware. You know the non stick ones with the cool Oranges handles. It was his idea. Guess he didn't like the old ones that didn't balance on the stove. Ha.
Bob is home and it is nice, except that I can't say anything in jest. He thinks I am cutting him down . Oh brother. Calgon take me away. Bob loves his chickens. They get lots of attention. I hope they start laying more eggs. I have orders for 9 dozen by Christmas. Bob loves his hobbies. Okay, I have to get ready for church. Maybe I'll find the holiday spirit there. Peace.......

Bye for Now Dear.......................
Bob left back to MI today. I cried for about an hour. Now my eyes hurt... We had a very great talk before he left. About us, the future, jobs, love and Jesus. As he was pulling out of the drive way, his dad and step mom were driving home from New Mexico and I was so glad they all got to hug. Kisses and hugs, tears, and kleenex......Bob drove off, then I came in blew my nose, and took a nap. He just called and he is almost to Nebraska. I took this picture right before he left. He took Izzy and I have Pilgrim now. It was nice having him home to do all the chicken chores. Now I have to go out in the cold and close them up for the night. It's a full moon tonight. Very neat. Hope it guides Bob safely to MI. We had a few inches of snow while Bob was here. It was so pretty. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.......Ok, Please feel free to comment me.....Love, Gail

Photographer Gail F.
Well it is Sunday morning and I am done with the wedding. It went very well. I used both cameras. My 35mm and my digital. I believe I took over 200 pictures. Want to see one.. Ok I will add it to this blog. I love when the wedding is over and the stress is over. The bride, my friend Netta, looked so beautiful. I got to sit, when I did get to sit, with old friends from where I used to work. I worked a full 8 hours. Ok I have to go to church and greet today then go take care of the little ones in the nursery. Busy day. And Bob comes home for 5 days tomorrow. Yes. He and I will have a simple, quick Thanksgiving. Blessings!!!! Yes I got em...
Happy Thanksgiving all.
