Saturday in Colorado

RIBBON CUTTING OF NEW LIBRARY
PIKE'S PEAK!
It's the first Saturday of Spring! It was 75 degrees out here today. Oh lovely Colorado. I drove to the Springs by myself today and went to the awesome Current Inc. outlet store. I picked up a bunch of stickers for the class, and envelopes and a few Birthday cards. I saw an accident coming into the Springs. It looked like a guy was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. OUCH.
On the way home, I took a nice picture of Pike's Peak. I take a lot of pictures of it because it is always different looking. I love the Springs. So I came home looked at all my boxes and sat down and watched part of 'Drillbit Taylor'.
At 4 o' clock the town of Penrose was having the Grand Opening of our newly built library!! It is three times as big as the old one. It is beautiful! There was wine and appetizers. YUMMY. My friend, Rusty Ellis was there as entertainment. He is a really good Country singer. He looks like Woody from Toy Story. I was hanging out with my friend Holly and her hubby, and she told me to go outside, and when I went, there was a beautiful horse drawn carriage outside. She knew the guy who drove the carriage and horses, and she asked if I could go on a ride. OH it was FUN!! We went all over Penrose. The horses were half sister and half brother and were gray Percheron Horses. Beautiful team. What a fun, fun day. So right now, instead of packing, I am blogging. Tomorrow I get the keys to my new place. :) I am on Spring Break this whole next week, so I have all week to move everything. The guys are coming over Wednesday to help with the heavy stuff. Thanks Brian and John.!!!! And Kim, and David S., and who ever else shows up. Friends are priceless! So have a nice and loving week everyone. Peace.

You deserve to have a good time. Sounds like everything is moving forward. I can't wait to see pics of your new place. I miss Colorado so much Gail. I need to "come home" soon.

Is your place smaller than before? Where are you now? Have you told Bob to go to hell yet?
