POLAND FOREVER
It was a great weekend. My co-teacher KIM and I went on a mission to Colorado Springs to find Polka music and Polish flags for Tuesday night's "Multi Culture Night". Our room is doing Poland !!!! Homeland of my great-great Grandparents. We are serving Polish sausage, Pierogies, and cookies. We will have Polka music playing and Polish flags we found in Colorado Springs! Other classes are doing Italian, American, Cajun, Mexican, American Indian, and Chinese. Last year was great and we are hoping this year will top that. I've taught the kids how to say "Good Morning, and BUTT" in Polish. Of course they just laugh. I need a babushka. Ha.
Tonight my mother and father in law came over for a visit. They were making sure I was OK. I love them so much. I wish their son was as nice as they are. We talked and laughed, I cried, and we hugged. I had gotten a flannel shirt from 'Goodwill' for Art (FiL) and he put it right on and it looked so great on him. It had a white background and navy blue wild life animals on it with those cool pearl snap buttons. It was so warming to see them. They saw the boxes all over some packed, some empty. Betty was sad I was moving the end of the month. I will be about 25 minutes from them instead of just 4 minutes. :( They said they still can't believe Bob is doing this. Me either.
Yesterday a wonderful friend of mine fell out of a tree he was trimming. He fell backward and crashed on the ground. Nearly hitting re bar(sp). He fractured his skull, his hip, and broke a vertebrae in his neck. He needs prayers. Please pray for TIM Madigan. Also for his wife Terri. They are wonderful friends from church. He is awake and doing good. :)
I guess that is all for now. Have a wonderful week.
