Touching the water with the basket.
Just wanted to share the pictures of the Colorado Springs Balloon Classic I went to this morning. Yes that is Pikes Peak in the last photo. What a backdrop. I got there at 5:39 am. They took off after 7. It is always beautiful to see so much color in the sky. I love it. The one picture where the balloon is touching the water is a game of skill the pilots play. You just skim the top of the water. The one pictures of rafters, is from Canon City, CO. I just go to the river and watch the water splash by. We have lots of rafting companies here. Just another reason I love Colorado. Mountains, rivers, beauty, wildlife, and my friends...Love you all.
